IB-Informed Support for Thoughtful,
Motivated Students

I work with students and families seeking a calm, ethical, and deeply personalized approach to academic planning and college guidance. While my professional background is rooted in the International Baccalaureate, I support students across a wide range of secondary school programs, including IB, honors, AP, independent, and project-based pathways.

My work is grounded in the belief that strong outcomes come from clarity, reflection, and authentic student voice—not from shortcuts or pressure-driven strategies.

Who I Work With

I work best with students who:

  • Are curious, reflective, and motivated, even if they feel overwhelmed
  • Benefit from structure, mentorship, and thoughtful planning
  • Want to pursue colleges that are a good fit academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Are navigating rigorous coursework or creative/intellectual passions

This includes:

  • IB Diploma and Certificate students
  • Students in honors, AP, and independent school programs
  • Creative, humanities-oriented, and interdisciplinary learners
  • Students who value depth, integrity, and personal growth

My Approach

My approach is shaped by decades of classroom teaching, program coordination, and assessment work. I focus on helping students:

  • Understand their strengths and learning styles
  • Develop strong writing, thinking, and reflection skills
  • Plan intentionally across high school—not just senior year
  • Approach college admissions with confidence rather than fear

I see college guidance as an educational process, not a transactional one.
